Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Children’s Cove.

We provide a child-friendly location where law enforcement and child protective services can collaboratively investigate child abuse without subjecting young victims to repeated interviews and additional trauma. The Center provides needed assistance and services, at no cost, to these children and their non-offending family members, and to the professionals dedicated to the intervention, investigation, prosecution and treatment related to child abuse cases.

Due to the nature and confidentiality of the work, volunteers are best utilized for opportunities that do not directly involve casework or working directly with children.

Volunteer opportunities as well as additional information can be found here. Please email the Volunteer Application (downloadable PDF) to Stacy Gallagher at sgallagher@childrenscove.org. We will arrange for an interview to discuss your application, volunteer interest(s) and give an orientation of Children’s Cove. We require volunteers to be at least 18 years of age and that prospective volunteers be carefully screened through the application process, which will include a background check.

The work is very rewarding and we look forward to meeting and working with those who want to give back to the community through our Center. Thank you for your interest and please feel free to call Stacy Gallagher at 508-375-0410 with any questions.
